Telangna March Today in Hyderabad

Telangna March, Telangna March Hyderabad: Leaders of Joint Action Committee (JAC), Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), Communist Party of India (CPI), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and organisations of employees, teachers, students, lawyers, journalists and people from other walks of life will march from different points in the city and gather at Necklace Road to pres sfor a separate statehood.

Around 15,000 police personnel are keeping a non-stop vigil in Hyderabad to thwart any possible incident of violence during the Telangana March.

Eight Congress MPs from the Telangana region have announced their decision to participate in the march. The state ministers from the region, who played a key role in obtaining permission for the march, may also participate in the protest.

The government has also refused to permit Osmania University students from taking out a rally from the campus to Necklace Road. Leaders of students met Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy and said they want to join the march in a rally from the campus but she refused to grant permission.

All cinema theatres and multiplexes in Greater Hyderabad limits will remain closed on Sunday on account of the Telangana march. However, theatres in other Telangana districts will function as usual.
