62% vehicles of Politicians fail pollution test

In a shocking finding, 62% of vehicles which Politicians used as their official vehicles, failed the mandatory pollution test. 71% of diesel vehicles and 42% petrol vehicles belonging to netas failed to keep their emission under permissible limits. While officials were checking cars randomly in Bangalore they were surprised to find that government vehicles turned out to be the worst polluters within the Central Business District.

Some vehicles had a smoke density of 99 per cent where in the permissible level is just about 50 per cent. 70 per cent of the government vehicles failed the emission test which just shows the gross negligence in the proper maintenance of the vehicle. This crackdown on vehicles also revealed startling truth that many vehicles have been using adulterated diesel that is available at cheaper rates. The police said they will be taking suitable action against this.
